Goodyear, Arizona
Goodyear is a town in the western suburbs of Greater Phoenix. We know it is often confused with Goodyear Tires but that is how it got its name. Goodyear Tires at one time tested their tires outside of Phoenix which eventually became the town of Goodyear. Incidentally The town of Goodyear is not far from PIR or Phoenix International Raceway which is the host to various car events including two NASCAR events each year. But not to digress Goodyear is about growth in the Phoenix metropolitan area. The whole western area of Phoenix has enjoyed tremendous growth and it will continue.
